Blake Howard is a long snapper from Cincinnati who arrives at Tennessee as a transfer with two seasons of eligibility remaining. Originally at ETSU, he played in three games as a freshman before redshirting in 2023. He then transferred to Eastern Kentucky, where he appeared in 11 games during his redshirt-freshman year in 2024 and 12 games in 2025 while also recording tackles at the position. At Princeton High School, Howard posted 60 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and seven sacks, earning Defensive MVP honors. He lettered in football, track and field and basketball.
