Arion Carter is a 6'1", 238-pound senior Will linebacker from Smyrna, Tennessee. A four-star recruit in the Class of 2023, Carter arrived at Tennessee in December 2022 and has appeared in 31 career games with 22 starts. In 2025, his junior season, he recorded 76 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries, and two pass breakups while leading the SEC with 7.6 tackles per game despite a foot injury. He earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting 17 tackles against Mississippi State on September 27. Carter withdrew from the 2026 NFL Draft in January and underwent foot surgery, positioning him to return for his senior season in 2026.
