Sam Wolfenden is a long snapper from Cave Creek, Arizona, who played at Cactus Shadows High School under coach Christopher Dixon. At the high school level, he lined up at defensive end and long snapper, recording two sacks as a senior. Wolfenden joined UNLV as a walk-on in 2024 and did not appear in games during his freshman season or the following redshirt freshman year. He transferred to Temple in January 2026 and currently holds redshirt sophomore status with the Owls. A business major, Wolfenden wears number 97 and stands 6'2" at 245 pounds.
