Ransom McDermott is a 6'8", 315-pound right tackle from Noblesville, Indiana, currently a redshirt sophomore at Temple. He played offensive tackle at Noblesville High School under head coach Dave Sharpe, where as a senior he anchored a unit that accumulated 2,836 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns at 5.8 yards per carry. McDermott attended Louisville, making his collegiate debut in the 2024 season opener against Austin Peay before redshirting that year. He appeared in action during the 2025 season opener against Eastern Kentucky as a redshirt freshman. McDermott transferred to Temple in January 2026.
