Dante Atton, a 6'0", 200-pound punter from Melbourne, Australia, attended St. Francis Xavier College before joining Temple. He has served as the Owls' primary punter since his freshman year in 2023. During the 2025 season, Atton appeared in 20 games, recording 62 punts for 2,615 yards with a 42.2-yard average and one touchback. He was named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List and earned first-team All-America honors from Pro Football Sports Network. As a senior in 2026, Atton returns as the incumbent punter and currently holds single-digit jersey number 7, an honor reserved for team leaders.
