Koron Hayward is a 6'5", 245-pound linebacker from Jacksonville, Florida, who prepped at Sandalwood High School. He committed to Western Kentucky as a three-star recruit and appeared in 10 games during his 2023 freshman season, recording seven tackles and earning Conference USA All-Freshman Team honors. After appearing in four games in 2024, Hayward played in 11 games during the 2025 season, starting in five contests. He posted 19 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and 2.5 sacks while also returning an interception for a touchdown against Delaware. Hayward earned 2025 Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week (10/27) and now joins TCU as a transfer.
