Adam Schobel is a quarterback for TCU from Columbus, Texas. The four-star recruit ranked 212th overall in the 2025 class was named the nation's No. 16 quarterback by recruiting services. At Columbus High School, Schobel compiled 7,668 yards passing and 94 touchdowns through his junior year. As a senior, he threw for 2,405 yards and 30 touchdowns with a 72.3 completion percentage. He earned District 12-3A Division I Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman after passing for 2,440 yards and 28 touchdowns. Schobel also competed in track, running the 200 meters. His father Matt and uncle Aaron both played for TCU and went on to the NFL.
