Tyshawn Russell is a 5'11", 195-pound wide receiver from Harrisburg, PA who transferred to Syracuse in December 2024 after two seasons at South Carolina. As a freshman in 2023, he appeared in 10 games and recorded five catches for 81 yards and one touchdown, including a 50-yard reception against Furman on his collegiate debut. He redshirted in 2024. In 2025, Russell appeared in three games before an injury ended his season. He caught eight passes for 84 yards while adding two carries for four yards and two kickoff returns for 36 yards across contests against Tennessee, UConn, and Colgate.
