Javon Lawrence is a right cornerback for Syracuse standing 6'1" and weighing 180 pounds. A native of Spring Valley, New York, he attended North Rockland High School, where he earned three-star ratings from multiple recruiting services and was ranked among the top-70 cornerbacks nationally by national outlets. During his high school career, Lawrence recorded three interceptions, four touchdowns, and two pass breakups as a senior while helping his team win a Sectional and League championship. He also competed in track, where he was a state champion. Lawrence made his collegiate debut against Colgate on September 12 during his redshirt freshman year in 2025.
