Marcus Monroe is a true freshman tight end at Stanford wearing No. 81. The 6'4", 220-pound native of Cary, North Carolina, attended North Raleigh Christian Academy, where he earned three-star recruit status and ranked as the No. 33 tight end prospect nationally according to national outlets. Over his final two high school seasons, Monroe recorded 69 receptions for over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns. He led the Triangle Independent Schools Athletic Conference in receptions, yards, and touchdowns, capturing the league's Triple Crown award. Monroe earned First Team All-TISAC honors in 2024 and Prep Redzone NCISAA All-State recognition in 2025. He competed in multiple sports at the preparatory level and maintained Academic All-Conference distinction three consecutive years.
