Carter Shaw is a 6'3" wide receiver from Atherton, California, who transferred to Stanford after three seasons at UCLA. At Sacred Heart Preparatory, he was a three-star recruit who lettered in football three years and competed in track all four years, earning a state championship as a member of the 2021 CIF Division 5-A team. During his senior season, he recorded 26 receptions for 477 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 33 tackles on defense. Shaw appeared in 15 games for the Bruins, totaling 45 receiving yards on two receptions and nine yards on two rushing attempts, primarily contributing on special teams where he recorded three tackles. He made his first career start against Minnesota on October 12, 2024, catching an 18-yard reception.
