Carson Caplan is a center for the Stanford Cardinal, standing 6'3" and weighing 305 pounds. The redshirt sophomore from Colorado Springs, Colorado, attended Pine Creek High School, where he was rated the No. 5 interior lineman in Colorado by recruiting services and earned two-time CHSAA All-State honors. In 2024, Caplan did not appear as a freshman but retained redshirt eligibility. During the 2025 redshirt freshman season, he saw action in 11 games primarily on special teams, appearing in 40 field goal and PAT snaps, and earned All-ACC Academic Team recognition.
