Alejandro Chavez is a redshirt senior long snapper for Stanford. The 6'2", 225-pound West Covina, California native attended Bishop Amat, where he was a three-sport athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. He earned 2021 Mission League Offensive Lineman of the Year honors and made second-team all-league as a junior while helping lead Bishop Amat to the Division 2 quarterfinals. At Stanford, Chavez redshirted his freshman year in 2022 and saw no action in 2023, earning Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll recognition. During his junior season in 2024, he appeared as the long snapper on one extra point attempt. In 2025, Chavez saw action in two games performing the long snapper role on extra point attempts.
