Preston Kilgore is a 6'4", 240-pound tight end from Terrell, Texas, who transferred to Southern Miss as a redshirt junior. He attended Terrell High School, where he earned All-District 7-4A honors and recorded 272 receiving yards with four touchdowns alongside 28 rushing yards. At East Texas A&M, Kilgore appeared in 10 games during the 2023 season, posting six receptions for 90 yards with a long reception of 25 yards against Nicholls. In 2025, he played in 10 games with seven receptions for 48 yards, including a season-long catch of 16 yards versus McNeese.
