Christian Young is an offensive lineman from Fredericksburg, VA who prepped at James Monroe High School. The 6'4", 335-pound redshirt senior transferred to Southern Miss from Emory & Henry College. At Emory & Henry, Young appeared in 10 games during the 2025 season, contributing to an offensive line that limited sacks to 11 and helped produce a 1,000-yard rusher. In 2024, he played in 10 games with two starts as the offensive line averaged 380.3 yards of total offense per game while running backs scored 11 touchdowns. Young earned South Atlantic Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition in both 2024 and 2023.
