Shamar Meikle is a transfer defensive end who joined South Florida in January 2026 after two seasons at Oregon State. The 6'3", 235-pound junior from Miramar, Florida arrived with 38 career tackles, seven tackles for loss and two sacks. In 2025, Meikle appeared in 11 games, recording 28 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks and five quarterback hurries, including a career-high 11 tackles against Oregon. As a senior at Miramar High School, he totaled 80 tackles and 26.5 sacks while earning Broward County Defensive Player of the Year honors.
