Luke Clyburn is a 6'7" tight end who transferred to South Florida in January 2026 as a graduate student. The Camden, SC native spent three years at Newberry College (Division II), redshirting in 2022 before appearing in 14 games over the next two seasons and recording two receptions for 13 yards. Clyburn then joined Furman University for the 2025 season, where he appeared in 12 games and caught 10 passes for 88 yards as the Paladins finished 6-6. He made receptions in seven games that year, including two catches for 20 yards against ETSU and Chattanooga. Clyburn earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Newberry in December 2024.
