KJ Cooper is a 6'5", 225-pound transfer quarterback who joined South Florida in January 2026. The El Paso native completed three collegiate seasons prior to his arrival with the Bulls, including two years at Texas Southern and one at Minnesota State C&TC. At Texas Southern, Cooper saw action in 12 games across two seasons, compiling 1,806 passing yards and 14 touchdowns alongside 344 rushing yards and four touchdowns on a 61 percent completion rate. In 2025, his final year at Southern, he appeared in 10 games, completing 158 of 261 passes for 1,626 yards and 13 touchdowns while rushing 77 times for 292 yards and four scores.
