Julius Tate is a right guard from Greenville, South Carolina, who transferred to South Florida in January 2026 after two seasons at Coastal Carolina. Standing 6'3" and weighing 305 pounds, Tate appeared in all 13 games during the 2025 season at Coastal Carolina and earned Sun Belt Third Team all-conference recognition. He redshirted in 2024. As a senior at Greenville High School, Tate was a PrepStar Magazine All-Atlantic Region selection and received three-star recruiting grades. He now plays under South Florida offensive coordinator Tim Beck, his former head coach at Coastal.
