Jason Collins Jr. is a running back from Washington, DC, who attended Theodore Roosevelt HS before playing three seasons at Morgan State. The transfer joined South Florida in January 2026 as a redshirt junior. Across 18 career games with the Bears, Collins accumulated 1,009 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns while adding 31 receptions for 205 yards, including a pair of 100-yard rushing performances. In 2025, he appeared in 7 games, recording 108 carries for 430 yards and 6 touchdowns, plus 14 catches for 62 yards. He earned Preseason MEAC Offensive Player of the Year honors and All-MEAC Second Team recognition.
