Troy Pikes is a 6'3", 293-pound redshirt junior defensive tackle from Atlanta, Georgia who transferred to South Carolina from Georgia Southern in summer 2025. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Pikes appeared in one game as a freshman before redshirting. During his 2024 redshirt freshman year at Georgia Southern, he played in all 13 games with one start, recording 13 tackles across 331 snaps. In his first season with the Gamecocks, Pikes appeared in all 12 games and tallied 16 total tackles, including a career-high five against Clemson. He added one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, one fumble recovery, and two quarterback hurries during the 2025 campaign.
