The 6'4", 245-pound sophomore was a three-star recruit ranked 536th nationally in the 2025 class. In his freshman season, Tyler appeared in 11 games primarily on special teams, recording one reception for 13 yards against Coastal Carolina. He earned SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. At Hammond School, Tyler caught 38 passes for 618 yards and six touchdowns as a junior, including the game-winning score in the SCISA 4A championship game.
