Max Drag is a 6'4", 248-pound tight end from Chapin, South Carolina, currently a redshirt junior at South Carolina. Originally a three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Drag began his college career at Appalachian State, appearing in one contest as a true freshman in 2023 before redshirting. In 2024, he appeared in 11 contests with one start for the Mountaineers and caught one pass for 11 yards, a touchdown reception against Old Dominion. Drag transferred to UCF prior to the 2025 season, where he appeared in 11 contests with one start, primarily contributing as a blocker in the run game while recording three receptions for 19 yards.
