DJ Black is a 6'2", 205-pound receiver from Inman, South Carolina, who graduated from Chapman High School in 2022. Black initially joined South Carolina as a true freshman walk-on in summer 2022 and redshirted. After one season at Limestone, where he recorded 225 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 10 games, he transferred to UCF following the shutdown of Limestone's football program. At UCF in 2025, Black appeared in 12 games with 11 starts, catching 22 passes for 273 yards and two touchdowns. He recorded an 82-yard touchdown reception at Kansas State, the longest catch of his career, and hauled in the game-winning touchdown against Jacksonville State on a 33-yard reception.
