Armando Nieves is a 6'6", 315-pound right tackle from Phoenix, Arizona who graduated from Paradise Valley High School, where he served as a two-time varsity captain and earned AIA 5A Northeast Valley Region 1st Team honors. He began his college career at the University of Sioux Falls in 2022 as a redshirt freshman before joining Hutchinson Community College, where he played on squads that compiled records of 10-1 in 2023 and 11-1 in 2024, helping the Blue Dragons to the NJCAA National Championship. Nieves transferred to New Mexico State for 2025, starting 10 games at right tackle while playing over 600 snaps in his only season with the Aggies before joining South Carolina as a transfer.
