Tirrell Johnson is a redshirt senior edge rusher from Wynne, Arkansas, who transferred to South Alabama after two seasons at Harding University. At Harding, he appeared in 27 games and compiled 45 total tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks while helping the program win the 2023 Division II National Championship. In his 2025 debut season with the Jaguars, Johnson started 10 of 12 games and recorded 54 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. He also intercepted one pass, broke up one pass, forced two fumbles, and recorded three quarterback hurries. Johnson earned All-Sun Belt honorable mention honors and was named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
