PJ Martin is a running back from New Orleans who attends De La Salle High School. The 5'10", 205-pound back joined South Alabama as a freshman in 2023, appearing in four games with 12 rushing attempts for 75 yards and one touchdown. He redshirted that year to maintain eligibility. In 2024, Martin played all 13 games, recording 13 carries for 98 yards and a touchdown. During the 2025 season, he appeared in eight games and carried the ball 60 times for 326 yards with two touchdowns while averaging 5.4 yards per attempt.
