Jayvon Henderson is a redshirt senior cornerback for South Alabama who transferred from East Tennessee State. At ETSU, he appeared in 27 games over three seasons, recording 75 tackles, one interception and 16 pass breakups. He earned Phil Steele Freshman All-American honors following the 2023 season. In 2025, Henderson started all 12 games for the Jaguars, tallying 27 total tackles with two tackles for loss and five pass breakups. He also recovered two fumbles, including one in South Alabama's victory over Georgia State. Henderson hails from Auburn, Georgia, and attended Mill Creek High School.
