Dallas Young is a redshirt junior cornerback for South Alabama, standing 6'0" and weighing 205 pounds. The Gardendale, Alabama native joined the program from Arkansas, where he appeared in 12 games across two seasons primarily on special teams and recorded one tackle. In 2025, his first year with the Jaguars, Young played in all 12 games with four starts, accumulating 17 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss. He broke up one pass in South Alabama's win at Georgia State and posted a season-high five tackles in the victory over Southern Miss. Young also recorded a tackle for loss during the program's inaugural trip to Auburn.
