Cube Gurley is a cornerback for South Alabama who hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, where he attended St. Augustine Catholic High School. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Gurley ranked in the top 50 for football athletes in Louisiana and drew interest from multiple programs including Indiana, Baylor, and Marshall. He recorded four interceptions during his junior and senior seasons and helped lead St. Augustine to three playoff appearances. Gurley redshirted during the 2024 season due to injury and did not see action in 2025. The redshirt sophomore stands 6'1" and currently weighs 195 pounds.
