Baxter Turner is a long snapper for the South Alabama Jaguars from Tibbie, Alabama, who attended Saraland High School in Mobile County. Turner redshirted in 2023 without appearing in games. In 2024, he played in six games as a redshirt freshman, including wins over Northwestern State, Louisiana, Southern Miss, and Western Michigan, and contributed to the team's 2024 IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl Championship. During the 2025 season, Turner handled snapping duties on field goals and extra points across all 12 games, helping South Alabama connect on seven field goals and 33 points.
