Aleksi Pulkkinen is a senior punter for South Alabama from Helsinki, Finland, where he attended Vuosaari Lukio. He redshirted as a freshman in 2023 before appearing in 12 of 13 games in 2024, recording 67 punts for 1,858 yards at a 41.3 average, with a long of 67 yards and 16 punts inside the 20-yard line. In 2025, Pulkkinen played all 12 games and punted 49 times for 1,979 yards at 40.4 yards per punt, including a 59-yard long, nine punts inside the 20, and three touchbacks. He did not record a blocked punt in either season.
