Jonathan Jefferson is a 6'3", 315-pound defensive lineman for the SMU Mustangs, wearing number 94. From Douglasville, Georgia, Jefferson transferred to SMU after playing at the University of Georgia, where he appeared in seven games in 2023 and 13 games across three seasons. In 2024, his first year at SMU, he appeared in 13 games with one start, recording 17 tackles (six solo), two tackles for loss, and two pass breakups. A four-star recruiting prospect, Jefferson was ranked the #149 overall prospect nationally and #15 in Georgia. He redshirted the 2025 season with a medical redshirt.
