Trent Carrizosa is a 6'4", 232-pound punter from San Jose, California who transferred to San José State from Colorado. At Del Mar High School, he played center, defensive end, and punter while serving as team captain his senior year. He appeared in nine games as a Colorado freshman in 2022, recording 46 punts for 1,877 yards at 40.8 yards per attempt with 11 inside the 20. In his 2025 debut season at SJSU, Carrizosa punted 39 times for 1,777 yards, averaging 45.6 yards with a career-long 68 yards and a career-high 14 placements inside the 20.
