Tama Amisone is a true freshman quarterback from Kapolei, Hawai'i, who attends San José State. A three-star recruit, he was the first player in the state to pass for 2,500 yards and rush for 1,000 in a single season during high school, where he threw for 1,917 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior. In his collegiate debut versus CMU on August 29, he rushed for 23 yards on five carries. During the 2025 season, Amisone completed 26 of 50 passes for 205 yards with three interceptions and no touchdowns while rushing 34 times for 160 yards and one touchdown. He earned Mountain West All-Academic honors in 2025.
