Star Taimani is a 6'3", 265-pound defensive lineman for San José State. A native of Antioch, California, he attended Pittsburg High School, where he played both defensive and offensive line positions over his final two years. He was an honor roll student all four years and participated in North Coast Section and CIF State Football Championship competitions in 2024. Taimani spent 2025 at Diablo Valley College, appearing in nine games with 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, and one pass breakup. He transferred to SJSU for the 2026 season and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, and Entrepreneurship.
