Robert McDaniel is a quarterback from Hughson, California, where he attended Hughson High School. A three-time football captain, he completed 170 of 274 passes for 2,796 yards and 33 touchdowns during the 2024-25 season. Over his high school career spanning 43 games, McDaniel registered 499 completions on 825 attempts for 7,767 yards, 95 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. He transferred to San José State in 2025 after spending time at UCLA.
