Mathias Brown is a kicker for San José State. The Fullerton, California native attended Sunny Hills High School, where he played four seasons of football and was named team MVP as a kicker in 2022. He also earned All Orange County honors in 2021 and 2022, First-Team All Freeway League in 2022, and participated in the North vs. West All-Star Game that same year. Brown joined SJSU in 2024 and appeared in 11 games during his first season. In 2025, he kicked off in all 12 games, converting 4 of 7 field goal attempts and 10 of 11 extra points for 22 points. His long field goal of the season reached 46 yards versus Nevada on November 15.
