Jonathan Watts is a 6'3", 182-pound cornerback from Union City, California, who attended James Logan High School where he played wide receiver. After playing in seven games at Laney College in 2024, recording one interception with a 22-yard return, two pass breakups, and seven tackles including one for loss, Watts transferred to Idaho State. During the 2025 season at Idaho State, he appeared in two games and recorded his first career tackle against Lincoln (CA) on September 20. Watts joined San José State as a transfer for the 2026 season and is a redshirt sophomore.
