Colton Thomas is a defensive lineman from Carlsbad, California, standing 6'1" and weighing 260 pounds. He attended Carlsbad High School, where he recorded 54 tackles, 11 sacks, and 16 tackles for loss as a senior in 2024. Thomas earned First Team All-CIF and First Team All-League honors that year, led the Avocado League in sacks and tackles for loss, and was named team MVP. He set a school record for sacks by a defensive tackle at Carlsbad High School. Thomas joined San José State as a redshirt freshman in 2025 and did not appear in a game during his first season with the Spartans.
