Ryan Wolfer is a tight end for San Diego State, standing 6'5" and weighing 235 pounds. The redshirt sophomore from Peoria, Arizona, attended Liberty High School, where he earned first-team all-state honors in 2023 and was named BJ Media Tight End of the Year. He converted to tight end in his senior year after playing offensive line, finishing with 34 receptions for 536 yards and three touchdowns. Liberty reached the state championship playoffs all four years and won the 2023 open division title. Wolfer redshirted during his first season with the Aztecs in 2024. In 2025, he appeared in all 13 games, recording two receptions for 37 yards with a long of 19 yards against North Texas at the New Mexico Bowl.
