Robby Lavata'i is a 6'5", 250-pound edge rusher from University Place, Washington who attends San Diego State as a true freshman. At Curtis Senior High School in Tacoma, he earned four letters and helped the Vikings reach four consecutive 4A Washington State playoffs. In 2023, Curtis Senior finished as runner-up in the 4A South Puget Sound League, marking its best finish since 2013. Lavata'i was ranked the No. 12 prospect in Washington and a top 90 EDGE recruit nationally by recruiting services, receiving scout grades of 87 from recruiting services and 76 from national outlets.
