Josiah Lucas is a true freshman running back at San Diego State. The 5'9", 190-pound product of South Grand Prairie High School in Arlington, Texas, earned three letters with the Warriors. Over three varsity seasons, he accumulated 3,189 rushing yards while averaging 110 per game. As a senior in 2025, Lucas rushed for 1,258 yards and 24 touchdowns, including a 223-yard, four-touchdown performance against Arlington High School. He added 1,403 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior on 176 carries. Lucas also contributed 39 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns across his high school career. Rated a three-star prospect by both recruiting services, he selected the Aztecs from multiple offers.
