Jayden Denegal is a 6'5", 230-pound quarterback from Apple Valley, California, who transferred to San Diego State after three seasons at Michigan. At the University of Michigan, he appeared in seven games, completing 4-of-5 passes for 50 yards and a touchdown while serving as backup during the 2023 National Championship season. In his 2025 junior season with the Aztecs, Denegal started 12 games, passing for 1,810 yards with nine touchdowns against eight interceptions on 244 attempts. He also rushed 67 times for 103 yards and four touchdowns. Denegal was named a 2025 team captain.
