Cameron Cooper is a 6'2", 230-pound linebacker from Gilbert, Arizona, who attended Chandler High School as a three-time letter winner. During his senior year (2023-2024), he recorded 59 tackles, six tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks while also forcing and recovering a fumble. At Western Colorado, Cooper was named RMAC Freshman Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 after playing in all 13 games, posting 32 solo tackles and 34 assisted tackles with two interceptions and a touchdown. In 2025, he earned First Team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors, totaling 81 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and five sacks while recording an interception and fumble recovery as Western Colorado finished 10-3. Cooper now transfers to San Diego State for the 2026 season as a junior.
