Caleb Ricks is a 6'1", 195-pound right cornerback who transferred to San Diego State after one season at Idaho. During 2025, his freshman year with the Vandals, Ricks appeared in all 12 games and recorded 26 tackles with one interception for 27 yards. He posted a game-high of six tackles against UC Davis on November 8 and earned FCS Football Central 2025 Freshman All-American honors. Ricks led FCS cornerbacks with a 29.3% forced incompletion rate and ranked fourth among Big Sky Conference cornerbacks with an 89.8 grade per PFSN. At St. Amant High School in Louisiana, he earned All-District First Team selection as a senior and registered 21 tackles, two forced fumbles, and six passes defended.
