Jarra Anderson is a 6'3", 300-pound defensive tackle from Katy, Texas, who transferred to Sam Houston as a redshirt junior. Anderson originally signed with Memphis, where he appeared in 11 games during the 2023 season as the Tigers went 10-3 and won the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. He recorded 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks that year, including a start against SMU. After spending 2024 sidelined by injury, Anderson transferred to Arizona and saw action in one game versus Weber State in 2025.
