Carson Whitington is a long snapper from El Campo, Texas, standing 6'0" and weighing 240 pounds. He played two seasons at Blinn College before joining Sam Houston in 2024. In his first year with the Bearkats, Whitington appeared in all 12 games and served as the primary long snapper on punt coverage, recording one solo tackle. He contributed to a punt unit that averaged 35.7 net yards per punt while limiting opponent returns to 7.2 yards per contest. Whitington currently holds redshirt senior/transfer status for the 2026 season.
