Jaylen Patterson is a quarterback from Los Angeles who graduated from San Jacinto HS in 2025. As a senior, he completed 1,545 passing yards and 14 touchdowns to lead the Mountain Pass League, while also rushing for nearly 650 yards and 12 touchdowns at 7.9 yards per carry. He helped San Jacinto reach the Southern Section Division II playoffs and produced 162 passing yards with two touchdowns plus 105 rushing yards and four touchdowns in a 49-3 win over Tahquitz HS. A three-star prospect, Patterson redshirted during the 2025 season at New Mexico State and now joins Sacramento State as a transfer.
