Boogsie Silvera is a safety from Pembroke Pines, Florida, who graduated from American Heritage High School in 2022 as a three-star recruit. He began his college career at Charleston Southern in 2022, redshirting after appearing in four games with 21 tackles. Silvera then transferred to McNeese, where he recorded 68 tackles in eight games during 2023 and 85 tackles with two interceptions, 2.0 TFLs, seven passes defended and two forced fumbles in 2024. He also played at South Florida before joining Sacramento State as a transfer in 2025, appearing in four games with five tackles for the Hornets.
